Thanking him for the "generous appreciation" he bestowed on Nachez's Swedish Rhapsody, asking if he may inscribe his new Suite for violin and piano, which is about to be published, to Bennett, as a token of his esteem and admiration, and asking Bennett to announce Nachez's debut in France, after a ten-year absence, playing the Bruch concerto with the Philharmonic of Bordeaux.

Tivadar Nachèz was born in Budapest, Hungary in 1859. He was a Hungarian violinist and composer with an international career, and primarily lived in London, England. In Budapest he studied under Sabathiel, the leader of the orchestra of the Budapest Opera. Then he studied under Joseph Joachim in Berlin, Germany and afterwards with Hubert Léonard in Paris, France.
